Photos from my trip to Promised Land State Park in Northeast Pennsylvania on August 7th and 8th, 2008.
I apologize for the grainyness of these photos. It rained about once an hour almost the entire time I was at the Wildlife Observation Station and these shots are all taken in the rain. There was a pair of nesting adult Bald Eagles across the lake about 3000 feet away that were fantastic to watch through binoculars but I couldn't get them well enough with the lens I had. According to the locals, the pair of Eagles are nesting there year round.
